Julio González (Cuban boxer)

Julio González is a Cuban former professional boxer. He is best known for winning a bronze medal in the light heavyweight division at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. González defeated Janusz Gortat of Poland in the quarter-finals but lost to Mate Parlov of Yugoslavia in the semi-finals. His Olympic medal was one of Cuba's three boxing medals won that year.
