Julio Alsogaray (sailor)

Julio Alsogaray (born September 3, 1980, in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine sailor who competes in the Laser class. He represented Argentina in four consecutive Olympic Games: Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016. His best Olympic result was a 5th place finish at the London 2012 Olympics. He has also achieved notable results in other international sailing competitions, including medals at the Pan American Games. Alsogaray is considered one of Argentina's most accomplished sailors, known for his dedication and skill in the highly competitive Laser class. He is the brother of Carlos Alsogaray, also a prominent Argentine sailor.
