Jon Ander (footballer, born 1990)

Jon Ander Garrido Moraza (born November 9, 1990), known as Jon Ander, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder.

Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Jon Ander came through the youth ranks at Athletic Bilbao. He played primarily for their farm team, CD Baskonia, and their reserve team, Bilbao Athletic, during his early career.

He joined Cádiz CF in 2014. He became a key player for the Andalusian side, contributing to their promotion to Segunda División in 2016. He has since remained with Cádiz, playing regularly in the second tier and later in La Liga following their promotion in 2020. He is known for his tenacity, work rate, and defensive capabilities in midfield.
