John Moore (ice hockey)

John Moore (born November 19, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League (AHL) under contract to the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Moore was drafted 21st overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He played college hockey for the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Moore made his NHL debut with the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2010-11 season. He has also played for the New York Rangers, Arizona Coyotes, New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins, and Anaheim Ducks. Throughout his NHL career, Moore has been known for his skating ability and offensive contributions from the blue line. He has also represented the United States in international competitions, including the IIHF World Championship.
