John Browne (hurler)

John Browne (born 1970) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a centre-back for the Tipperary senior team.

Browne made his first appearance for the team during the 1990 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 2001 championship. During that time, he won two All-Ireland medals (1991, 2001), four Munster medals (1991, 1993, 1996, 1999) and one National Hurling League medal (1994).

At club level, Browne played for Cashel King Cormacs. He won a Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship medal with the club in 1991.
