Joe Hill (writer)
Joe Hill (born Joseph Hillström King, June 4, 1972) is an American author and comic book writer. He is the son of authors Stephen and Tabitha King. He initially used the pen name Joe Hill to establish his literary career independently of his famous parents.
Hill's works include the novels Heart-Shaped Box (2007), Horns (2010), NOS4A2 (2013), The Fireman (2016), Strange Weather (2017), and Full Throttle (2019), a collection of short stories. He is also known for his comic book work, particularly Locke & Key, co-created with artist Gabriel Rodriguez, which was adapted into a Netflix series.
His writing often blends elements of horror, fantasy, and dark humor, frequently exploring themes of family, loss, and the supernatural. Hill has received numerous awards for his fiction, including the Bram Stoker Award and the British Fantasy Award. He revealed his true identity as Stephen King's son in 2007.
