Jimmy McKinnell (footballer)
Jimmy McKinnell (born October 14, 1944) is a Scottish former professional footballer. A full back, McKinnell played for Queen of the South, Middlesbrough, and Darlington in a career spanning the 1960s and 1970s. He is best remembered for his time at Queen of the South, where he made over 200 league appearances. McKinnell was known for his strong tackling and consistent performances in defence. After retiring from professional football, he remained involved in the sport at a local level.
