Jesus Piece (album)

Jesus Piece is the fifth studio album by American West Coast hip hop group The Game. It was released on December 11, 2012, by DGC Records and Interscope Records. The album features a plethora of guest appearances including Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Common, and Jamie Foxx, among others.

The album's title and cover art, depicting a depiction of Jesus wearing a red bandana, stirred controversy due to its perceived sacrilegious nature. The Game addressed the controversy, stating his intention was not to offend but to reflect his own spiritual journey and the juxtaposition of his life with faith.

Jesus Piece explores themes of faith, redemption, and the duality of life in the streets, reflecting on The Game's experiences with gang life and his evolving relationship with religion. The album's production, handled by a variety of producers, encompasses a diverse range of hip-hop styles, from West Coast sounds to more contemporary trap influences.
