Jean-Pierre Lacroix (diplomat)

Jean-Pierre Lacroix is a Canadian diplomat who has served in various high-level positions within the United Nations. He is primarily known for his role as the Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, a position he has held since April 2017.

In this capacity, Lacroix leads the UN's Department of Peace Operations (DPO), which is responsible for planning, preparing, managing, and supporting UN peace operations around the world.
