Jay Johnson (American football coach)

Jay Johnson is an American football coach who currently serves as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Michigan State Spartans.

Johnson's coaching career spans multiple levels, including high school, college, and professional football (in the CFL). Prior to joining Michigan State in 2023, he was the offensive coordinator at Colorado from 2019 to 2022. He has also held positions at Minnesota, Louisiana-Lafayette, Southern Miss, and other institutions.
