Janův Důl
Janův Důl is a village in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It is administratively part of the town of Liberec and lies within its municipal district.
Janův Důl is located approximately 5 kilometers east of the center of Liberec, situated in a valley surrounded by the Jizera Mountains foothills. The settlement's history is linked to mining activities, primarily for iron ore, hence the "Důl" (mine) in its name. While mining has ceased, the village maintains a rural character and is increasingly popular as a residential area due to its proximity to Liberec and its natural surroundings.
