Albert Bartlett (cricketer)

Albert Bartlett (born July 6, 1900, died December 15, 1976) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Northamptonshire between 1923 and 1937. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Bartlett appeared in 261 first-class matches.

Bartlett’s batting style was noted for its doggedness, making him a reliable middle-order presence for Northamptonshire. He scored 9,562 first-class runs at an average of 22.82, with a highest score of 130 not out. He achieved five centuries and 33 half-centuries in his career.

As a bowler, Bartlett's contributions were sporadic; he took 63 first-class wickets at an average of 38.00, with a best bowling performance of 5 for 31.
