Jamie Smith (footballer, born 1989)

Jamie Smith (born March 25, 1989) is a Scottish professional footballer. A midfielder, Smith most recently played for Scottish League Two club Albion Rovers.

Smith began his career at Celtic, where he progressed through the youth ranks. He signed professionally for Celtic in 2006 but did not make a first-team appearance for the club.

In January 2009, he joined Milton Keynes Dons on loan until the end of the season. He made his debut for the club in February 2009. He subsequently had a loan spell with Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League during the 2009–10 season.

In July 2010, Smith signed for Aberdeen on a permanent deal. After a season with Aberdeen, he moved to St Mirren in 2011. He played for St Mirren until 2013, and was part of the team that won the 2013 Scottish League Cup.

Following his time at St Mirren, Smith played for Brechin City and then Albion Rovers.

Smith has also represented Scotland at various youth international levels.
