James Davis (running back)
James Davis is a former American football running back. He played college football at Rutgers University from 2005 to 2008. Davis was known for his size and power running style.
During his time at Rutgers, Davis was a key contributor to the Scarlet Knights' success. He helped lead the team to multiple bowl game appearances and was recognized as one of the top running backs in the Big East Conference. He holds several school records, including career rushing yards and career rushing touchdowns.
Davis was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. His NFL career was short-lived, and he also spent time with other teams in the league. After his NFL career, he pursued other opportunities.
