Jake Chapman (politician)

Jake Chapman (born circa 1983) is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He served as a state senator in the Iowa Senate representing District 10, which included Adel, Dallas Center, Minburn, and Van Meter, along with parts of other communities in Dallas County.

Chapman was first elected to the Iowa Senate in 2012. During his time in the Senate, he served on various committees, including but not limited to: Judiciary, Government Oversight, and Ways and Means. He was known for his conservative stances on issues such as abortion, gun rights, and taxation. He often sponsored and supported legislation reflecting these views.

Chapman's political career was marked by several controversies. He was known for his outspoken rhetoric and engagement in social media debates. He did not seek re-election in 2022.
