Novelda is a town and municipality located in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is situated in the Vinalopó Mitjà comarca.

Novelda lies inland, at the foot of the Serra de la Mola mountain range. The town has a Mediterranean climate characterized by hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. As of 2023, the estimated population of Novelda is around 25,000 inhabitants.
