Iomain

Iomain is the Irish word for hurling. Hurling is an outdoor team sport of ancient Gaelic origin, played with a wooden stick (a hurley or camán) and a ball (a sliotar). It is predominantly played in Ireland and among Irish diaspora communities. It is considered one of the fastest field sports in the world and is a key part of Irish culture.
