Inazuma Eleven GO (TV series)
Inazuma Eleven GO (TV series) is an anime television series based on the Level-5 video game of the same name. It is the sequel to the original Inazuma Eleven anime series and is part of the Inazuma Eleven franchise. The series is set ten years after the events of the Football Frontier International and introduces a new protagonist, Arion Sherwind (Matsukaze Tenma in Japanese), and a new version of Raimon Eleven.
The anime follows Arion's journey as he joins Raimon Junior High's soccer club. He quickly discovers that soccer is controlled by Fifth Sector, an organization aiming to ensure predictable outcomes in matches. Arion, along with his teammates Victor Blade (Tsurugi Kyousuke) and JP Lapin (Shindou Takuto), and their coach Mark Evans (Endou Mamoru), must fight against Fifth Sector's control to restore the freedom and passion of soccer.
The series is divided into three main seasons:
-
Inazuma Eleven GO (2011-2012): Focuses on Arion joining Raimon and their initial conflict with Fifth Sector, culminating in the Holy Road tournament.
-
Inazuma Eleven GO: Chrono Stone (2012-2013): Arion and his team travel through time to protect soccer from a group called El Dorado, who aim to erase the sport from history. They meet historical figures and gain new powers through "Armed" and "Mixi Max" techniques.
-
Inazuma Eleven GO: Galaxy (2013-2014): Raimon is selected to represent Earth in the Football Frontier International Vision 2.0, a galactic tournament. They form a new team, Earth Eleven, and travel to different planets to compete against alien teams and save the galaxy.
The anime features a similar art style to the original Inazuma Eleven series, with dynamic animation during soccer matches and special moves. It also features a soundtrack composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. The series aired in Japan on TV Tokyo and has been dubbed and broadcast in various countries worldwide. It led to further video games, manga adaptations, and other merchandise within the Inazuma Eleven franchise.
