Harold Collins (Australian politician)

Harold Collins (1922 – 2000) was an Australian politician who served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, representing the Electoral district of Blue Mountains from 1965 to 1971. He was a member of the Labor Party.

Born in Katoomba, New South Wales, Collins worked as an industrial advocate before entering politics. He served as an alderman on the Blue Mountains City Council for several years prior to his election to parliament.

In the New South Wales Parliament, Collins was known for his advocacy for the Blue Mountains region. He focused on issues such as environmental protection, improved infrastructure, and increased funding for local services. He lost his seat in the 1971 election.
