Hlušice

Hlušice is a village and municipality in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 8 kilometers southwest of Nový Bydžov and 22 kilometers east of Nymburk. The municipality covers an area of 7.33 square kilometers and, as of 2023, has a population of around 750. The village is historically agricultural, although modern residents are increasingly employed outside the village in nearby towns and cities. The administrative part of the municipality is only Hlušice.
