Hillsfar

Hillsfar is a walled city located in the Heartlands of Faerûn, in the fictional Forgotten Realms campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. Situated on the northern shores of the Dragon Sea, it lies east of the River Lis and is a significant trade hub, though one often associated with prejudice and harsh laws.

The city is ruled by the First Lord, whose position is traditionally maintained through strength and political maneuvering. Hillsfar is known for its rigid social hierarchy and blatant favoritism towards humans born within its walls. Non-humans face significant discrimination and are often relegated to specific districts or subject to strict regulations. Red Plume guards, the city's enforcers, ensure these laws are upheld, often with brutality.
