  • Voyage 3 (1788-1789): Under the command of Captain John Locke, the Hillsborough departed the Downs on 11 March 1788, bound for Madras and Bengal. She arrived at Madras on 17 July and Calcutta on 29 August. • Voyage 4 (1790-1791): Still under Captain Locke, the Hillsborough left the Downs on 27 March 1790, bound for Madras and China. She arrived at Madras on 26 July and Whampoa on 15 November. She was at Second Bar, China on 17 January 1791 and returned to the Downs on 23 August.

  • Voyage 5 (1792-1794): Captain John Rogers commanded the Hillsborough as she departed the Downs on 29 March 1792, bound for Madras, Bengal and Bombay. She reached Madras on 25 July, Calcutta on 29 August, and Bombay on 19 November. She was at Tellicherry on 13 January 1793, Bombay again on 18 February, and Madras on 18 March. On her return leg, she was at St Helena on 23 August 1793, and arrived back at the Downs on 24 January 1794.

  • Voyage 6 (1795-1796): Captain Rogers again commanded as the Hillsborough departed Portsmouth on 2 May 1795, bound for Madras and Bengal. She arrived at Madras on 8 September and Calcutta on 21 October. She was at Kedgeree on 24 January 1796 and Madras on 5 April. She was at St Helena on 22 June and arrived back at the Downs on 12 August.

The Hillsborough was no longer listed in EIC records after 1796, presumably sold or otherwise disposed of. Her subsequent fate is currently unknown.
