Here on Earth (TV series)

Here on Earth is an American drama television series that aired on CBS from 2018 to 2019. Created by Kyle Killen and Glen Mazzara, the show starred Ginnifer Goodwin, Tim Roth, and Stephanie Beatriz.

The series followed the lives of two families, the Hollerans and the Vargas, whose paths unexpectedly intertwine. Kyle Holleran (played by Roth) is a wealthy attorney who, along with his wife Claire (played by Goodwin), moves back to his childhood hometown. Their arrival stirs up secrets and tensions, particularly with the Vargas family, headed by Ayala (played by Beatriz), a single mother struggling to make ends meet.

Here on Earth explored themes of class disparity, environmentalism, and the complexities of family relationships. The storyline centered on the secrets held by both families and the consequences of their actions. The show aimed to examine the human condition against the backdrop of environmental concerns and socioeconomic inequalities.

After one season, CBS cancelled Here on Earth.
