Henare (wrestler)

Henare is the ring name of Aaron Henry (born August 16, 1992), a New Zealand professional wrestler currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Henare began his professional wrestling career in New Zealand, competing for promotions such as Impact Pro Wrestling (IPW). He joined the NJPW dojo in 2016 and debuted later that year, initially competing as a Young Lion.

Throughout his time in NJPW, Henare has competed in various tournaments, including the World Tag League and the New Japan Cup. He is known for his powerful style and strong strikes.

In 2021, Henare joined the United Empire stable, led by Will Ospreay, signifying a shift in his character and wrestling direction. He adopted a more aggressive and intense persona, distancing himself from his Young Lion beginnings. He often teams with other members of the United Empire.
