Haleon
Haleon is a multinational consumer health company headquartered in Weybridge, England. It was formed in July 2022 as a spin-off from GSK (GlaxoSmithKline). Haleon focuses on over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, minerals, and supplements, and oral health products.
History
The formation of Haleon involved the consolidation of GSK's consumer healthcare portfolio with that of Pfizer. GSK previously owned a consumer healthcare joint venture with Novartis, which GSK acquired in 2015. The combination of these assets, along with other GSK-owned brands, formed the basis of Haleon. GSK then spun off 80% of Haleon as an independent publicly traded company.
