Höhnstedt

Höhnstedt is a village and a former municipality in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Seegebiet Mansfelder Land. It is located approximately 10 km east of Eisleben. Höhnstedt is known for its viticulture, being part of the Saale-Unstrut wine region. The village has a long history, with evidence of settlement dating back centuries. Its economy is primarily agricultural, with a significant focus on wine production and tourism related to the wine industry.
