Guilty (manga)

Guilty is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Erika Momochi. It was serialized in Kodansha's Manga Box app from December 2017 to August 2020 and later compiled into 16 tankōbon volumes.

The manga tells the story of Sayaka, a woman who is wrongly accused of setting her apartment on fire and harming her family. After serving time in prison for a crime she didn't commit, she seeks to rebuild her life and uncover the truth behind the incident, leading her on a path of revenge and self-discovery. The narrative explores themes of betrayal, societal prejudice, and the struggle for redemption.

Guilty is characterized by its intense drama, mature themes, and exploration of complex relationships. Its popularity led to a live-action television drama adaptation that aired in Japan in 2020.
