Grice Inn
The Grice Inn was a historic hotel located in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Established in 1898 by Edwin Grice, it operated for over a century and was a prominent landmark in the Berkshire region. The inn was known for its traditional New England hospitality and architecture, featuring a wraparound porch and offering views of the surrounding countryside.
Over its history, the Grice Inn catered to tourists, families, and visitors drawn to the cultural attractions and natural beauty of the Berkshires. It offered lodging, dining, and event space, contributing to the local economy and serving as a gathering place for the community. The inn’s history reflected the changing landscape of tourism and hospitality in the region.
The Grice Inn closed its doors in 2008. The building was subsequently sold and underwent renovations, later reopening as a private residence.
