Cathkin Park (1872–1903)

Cathkin Park was a football stadium located in Crosshill, Glasgow, Scotland. It served as the home ground for Queen's Park Football Club from 1872 until 1903. Prior to Queen's Park's occupation, the site was used as a recreational area.

During its time as Queen's Park's home, Cathkin Park hosted numerous Scottish Cup finals and international matches, including Scotland national team fixtures. The stadium was considered one of the premier football grounds in Scotland during this period. It played a significant role in the early development of Scottish football.

Queen's Park relocated to the second Hampden Park in 1903, and the original Cathkin Park was subsequently used by Third Lanark Athletic Club, who renamed their existing ground "New Cathkin Park" a short distance away. The original Cathkin Park site was then built on.
