Gordon Anderson (politician)

Gordon Anderson (born c. 1960) is an American politician who served as a member of the South Dakota Senate for District 28, representing Fall River and Custer Counties. He is a Republican.

Anderson was first elected to the Senate in 2012, defeating Democratic challenger Scott Heidepriem. He was subsequently re-elected several times.

During his tenure in the Senate, Anderson served on various committees, including the Appropriations Committee and the Education Committee. He has sponsored and supported legislation related to education, agriculture, and economic development in South Dakota. He is known for his conservative stances.
