Georgi Rusev (footballer)

Georgi Rusev (born September 3, 1998) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a forward for CSKA 1948 Sofia.

Rusev began his career with Lokomotiv Plovdiv. He subsequently played for Septemvri Sofia before transferring to Rubin Kazan in Russia in 2018. While at Rubin Kazan, he was loaned to Tambov.

Following his departure from Rubin Kazan, Rusev returned to Bulgaria, playing for Arda Kardzhali. He then joined CSKA 1948 Sofia. Rusev has also represented Bulgaria at various youth international levels. His playing style is generally described as that of a quick and technically gifted forward.
