George Wilson (safety)
George Wilson (born March 4, 1981) is a former American football safety. He played college football at Arkansas and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
Wilson spent eight seasons with the Buffalo Bills (2004-2011) and one season with the Tennessee Titans (2012). Throughout his NFL career, he was known for his hard-hitting style and versatility, playing both safety and linebacker positions. He was a team captain for the Bills and a respected leader on and off the field.
During his time in the NFL, Wilson recorded numerous tackles, interceptions, and forced fumbles. He was a key contributor to the Bills' defense for many years and earned a reputation as a reliable and consistent player. After his retirement from professional football, Wilson has been involved in various philanthropic endeavors and community outreach programs.
