George Ivory (basketball)

George Ivory (born c. 1968) is an American college basketball coach. He was most recently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), a position he held from 2008 until 2020.

Ivory played college basketball at Southern Arkansas University. Prior to becoming head coach at UAPB, he served as an assistant coach at Arkansas-Little Rock, Southern Arkansas, and Mississippi Valley State University.

During his tenure at UAPB, Ivory led the Golden Lions to one Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) tournament championship in 2010, earning the team a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He was named SWAC Coach of the Year in 2010. His overall record at UAPB was 119-215. Following the 2019-20 season, his contract was not renewed.
