Johnny Joyce (Gaelic footballer)

Johnny Joyce is a retired Irish Gaelic footballer who played for the Galway county team. He primarily played in the half-forward line. Joyce was a key member of the Galway team that won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 1998, defeating Kildare in the final. He also won a National Football League title with Galway in 2004. Known for his work rate and skillful play, Joyce was a consistent performer for Galway throughout his inter-county career. Following his retirement from inter-county football, he continued to play club football and has been involved in coaching at various levels.
