Ewa Roos

Ewa Roos (born June 12, 1949) is a Swedish singer and actress. She is best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest and Melodifestivalen, the Swedish pre-selection for Eurovision.

Roos began her career in the late 1960s, performing with various dance bands. She gained wider recognition in the 1970s and 1980s, appearing on television and in musicals.

She represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971 with the song "Vita vidder," finishing in 16th place. Roos has also participated in Melodifestivalen several times, both as a solo artist and as part of a duo or group. Her Melodifestivalen entries include "Ding-Dong" (1981), "René" (1982), and "Eva & Maria" (1992), a duet with Eva Dahlgren.

Throughout her career, Ewa Roos has released numerous albums and singles, and has remained a popular figure in Swedish entertainment. She has also worked as a voice actress, dubbing characters in animated films. She continues to perform and tour in Sweden.
