Gaoping

Gaoping may refer to:

• Gaoping District, Nanchong (高坪区): A district under the administration of Nanchong city, Sichuan province, China.

• Gaoping City, Jincheng (高平市): A county-level city administered by Jincheng city, Shanxi province, China. Known historically for the Battle of Gaoping between the Later Han and Northern Zhou dynasties.

• Battle of Gaoping (高平之战): A significant battle in Chinese history fought in 547 CE between the Later Han and the Northern Zhou dynasties during the Northern and Southern Dynasties period.

• Gaoping (高屏): A general term sometimes used to refer to the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area in Southern Taiwan. It is derived from the first character of "Kaohsiung" (高雄) and "Pingtung" (屏東).
