Frontone

Frontone is an Italian town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Italian region Marche, located about 80 kilometers west of Ancona and about 50 kilometers southwest of Pesaro.

The town is dominated by the imposing Castello di Frontone, a medieval castle perched on a rocky outcrop. Historically, the castle played a significant role in controlling the surrounding territory.

Frontone is situated in a mountainous area, offering opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture and tourism.
