Frank Nye

Frank Nye (born October 18, 1852, died April 15, 1935) was an American politician and newspaperman from Minnesota. He served as a U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 9th congressional district from 1907 to 1917 as a Republican.

Born in Shirley, Maine, Nye moved to Minnesota in 1873. He engaged in newspaper publishing in Clearwater, Minnesota, and later became the editor of the St. Cloud Journal-Press.

Nye served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1895 to 1899 and in the Minnesota State Senate from 1899 to 1907. Following his congressional career, he resumed his journalistic activities. He is interred in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
