Frank Martin (ice hockey)

Frank Martin is an American ice hockey coach, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team. Prior to joining Quinnipiac, Martin served as the head coach of the Miami University (Ohio) RedHawks men's ice hockey team from 2009 to 2019.

Martin played college hockey as a goaltender for Western Michigan University from 1990 to 1993. Following his playing career, he began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Denver University, a position he held for several seasons. He then moved on to serve as an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before ultimately accepting the head coaching position at Miami University.

During his tenure at Miami University, Martin led the RedHawks to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and a CCHA regular-season championship. He was known for his recruiting and player development skills.
