Frank Bey

Frank Bey (January 17, 1946 – June 7, 2020) was an American blues and soul singer. Born in Millen, Georgia, Bey began his professional singing career as a teenager, performing with various R&B and soul groups throughout the southeastern United States. He was noted for his powerful vocals, emotive delivery, and ability to connect with audiences.

Bey faced periods of hardship and obscurity throughout his career, including struggles with addiction and homelessness. He experienced a significant resurgence in popularity in his later years, signing with the Nola Blue Records label and releasing several critically acclaimed albums. These recordings earned him widespread recognition and established him as a prominent figure in the contemporary blues scene.
