Fedorov (crater)

Fedorov is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the east of the large crater Moscoviense, and west-southwest of the Mare Desiderii.

This crater is heavily eroded and worn, with a rim that is low and irregular. Several smaller craters lie along the rim and within the interior. The most notable of these is Fedorov K, which is attached to the southern outer rim. The interior floor is relatively level, but marked by a number of small craterlets.

The overall appearance of Fedorov indicates that it is a relatively old crater that has been subjected to a long period of impact events.
