Elkland (band)

Elkland was an electronic music duo formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the early 2000s. The group consisted of Jason Falkner (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Ian Cross (drums, keyboards, programming).

Elkland's music was characterized by its blend of electronic textures, pop sensibilities, and rock instrumentation. Their sound drew comparisons to artists like New Order, Depeche Mode, and The Killers.

The band released their debut album, Golden, in 2005 on Columbia Records. Golden featured the singles "Apart" and "Heartbreaker," which received significant airplay and helped establish Elkland's profile. The album was generally well-received by critics, who praised its catchy melodies and sophisticated production.

Elkland toured extensively in support of Golden, playing shows both in the United States and internationally. Despite initial success, the band did not release a follow-up album. In the years following the release of Golden, Falkner continued to work as a solo artist and producer, while Cross remained active in music production and DJing. The current status of Elkland as an active band is unknown, and no new material has been released for many years.
