Dennis Hughes (snooker player)

Dennis Hughes was a Welsh professional snooker player who competed in the 1970s and 1980s. He reached the last 16 of the 1979 World Snooker Championship, defeating Jack Fitzmaurice and Graham Miles before losing to Terry Griffiths. Hughes also competed in other professional tournaments of the era, including the UK Championship and the Professional Players Tournament. While not a multiple title winner, he was a consistent competitor during his time on the professional snooker circuit.
