Maximiliano "Maxi" Eduardo Meza (born January 15, 1992) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga MX club Monterrey and the Argentina national team.

Career

Meza began his professional career with Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in Argentina, making his debut in 2012. He became a regular player for the club, known for his pace, dribbling skills, and ability to score goals from midfield.

In 2016, Meza transferred to Independiente, another Argentine club. He quickly established himself as a key player for Independiente, contributing significantly to their success in the Copa Sudamericana in 2017, which they won by defeating Flamengo in the final. His performances attracted attention from clubs in Europe and Mexico.
