The Apprentice (American TV series) season 13
Season 13 of The Apprentice, also known as The New Celebrity Apprentice, aired on NBC from January 2, 2017, to February 13, 2017. This season marked a significant change for the series, as Arnold Schwarzenegger replaced Donald Trump as the host and boardroom judge. Trump, the original host, had become the President of the United States and stepped down from the role.
The season featured sixteen celebrity contestants competing in business-related challenges to raise money for their chosen charities. The winning contestant received $250,000 to donate to their charity.
Notable changes included a new boardroom location and the addition of advisors Tyra Banks and Patrick Schwarzenegger. While retaining the core structure of previous seasons, the show introduced new challenges and incorporated Schwarzenegger's catchphrase, "You're terminated," into the elimination process.
Boy George was ultimately named the winner of the season, earning $250,000 for Safe Kids Worldwide. The season received mixed reviews, with some praising the change of pace and others criticizing the new host and format. The show was not renewed for a fourteenth season. The contestants were: Laila Ali, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Boy George, Matt Iseman, Carrie Keagan, Carson Kressley, Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Vince Neil, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Porsha Williams, Ricky Williams, Carnie Wilson, and Eric Dickerson.
