Del James

Del James is an American author, musician, and film director. He is best known for his semi-autobiographical short story "Without You," which served as the basis for the 1992 film The Suicide Kings (originally titled The Lonely Place).

James has written and directed music videos, including several for the band Guns N' Roses. He was also a close friend and associate of the band's members, particularly Axl Rose, and has contributed to their songwriting and production processes.

His writing often explores themes of alienation, desperation, and the darker aspects of human relationships.
