Dayshell
Dayshell is an American rock band formed in 2012 in Southern California. The band is fronted by Shayley Bourget, formerly of the band Of Mice & Men. Dayshell's music is generally categorized as post-hardcore or alternative rock, often incorporating elements of metalcore and melodic rock.
The band was initially formed after Bourget's departure from Of Mice & Men due to personal health reasons. He sought to create music that was more personal and expressive, focusing on themes of struggle, resilience, and self-discovery. Dayshell's sound is characterized by Bourget's clean vocals, intricate guitar work, and a blend of heavy and melodic instrumentation.
Dayshell has released several albums and EPs, touring both domestically and internationally. The lineup has seen some changes over the years, with Bourget remaining the consistent core of the project. The band continues to create music and perform, maintaining a dedicated fanbase within the post-hardcore and alternative rock scenes.
