David Stone (keyboardist)

David Stone is a Canadian keyboardist, session musician, and songwriter. He is best known for his work as a member of the hard rock band Rainbow from 1977 to 1978, appearing on the album Long Live Rock 'n' Roll.

Prior to joining Rainbow, Stone played in the Canadian band Symphonic Slam. After his departure from Rainbow, reportedly due to disagreements over musical direction and touring demands, he pursued a career as a session musician, contributing to albums by various artists across different genres.

While relatively little publicly documented information exists regarding his post-Rainbow activities, it is believed Stone continued to be active in the music industry, though largely away from the spotlight.
