David O'Sullivan (civil servant)
David O'Sullivan is a senior Irish civil servant who has held several prominent positions within both the Irish civil service and the European Commission. He is best known for his long career in European affairs.
O'Sullivan served as Director-General for Trade at the European Commission from 2005 to 2010, playing a key role in shaping the EU's trade policy during that period. He later served as Chief Operating Officer of the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Union's diplomatic service, from 2011 to 2014.
