David Bishop (Neighbours)

David Bishop is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours. He was played by Kevin Harrington from 1988 to 1990, with a brief return in 2003 and a more extended stint from 2005 to 2009. He is the son of Harold and Madge Bishop and arrived in Erinsborough with his family.

David's storylines often revolved around his family relationships, particularly his occasionally strained relationship with his father, Harold. He also experienced romantic relationships during his time on the show. His initial departure saw him leaving Erinsborough to work overseas.

Upon his return, he became involved in various business ventures. His relationship with Liljana Tosic was a major plot point, eventually leading to their marriage. Both David and Liljana were tragically killed in a plane crash in 2006. His ghost later appeared to Harold in 2009.

David's character was known for being generally amiable and hardworking, though sometimes prone to making questionable decisions in business and relationships. His death, along with Liljana's and her daughter Serena's, was a significant and impactful event in the show's history.
